JOYCE PETRY Obituary

It is with deep sadness we must announce Joy (aka Mom/Nana/Nana Joy) died peacefully in her sleep after a short illness. Joy lived life on her own terms, approaching everything with style and true grit right until the end. Born and raised in Toronto, retirement brought her and husband Don to the Sunshine Coast in 1992. Joy was sadly predeceased by her son, Bryan in 2010. Along with Don, daughter Dianne (Hank), grandkids Emily, Joel, and Cameron would like to thank the staff of Coastal Health for their immense support and care for Joy. The ultimate sports fan, athlete, pup dog lover, and banana aficionado, Joy will be greatly missed. As she would say, "Good show!".
