IN LOVING MEMORY OF JOHN THESE November 11, 1943 - April 26, 2017 I'll wear your memory proudly, My true friend, May my love for you reach Heaven above, Until we meet again. After a long hard five and half year battle with Dementia & M.S., John gave everything he had to the very last minute when he opened his eyes. I gave him a kiss, thanked him for being such a wonderful husband and friend. Then I kissed him on each cheek and told him that was from his loving girls. While his sister Iris and I held his hands, I told him it was time to go to the light and join our loved ones on the other side and he did just that. John in survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Susan, daughters Heidi, Alisa (Jim) and grandson Seth Joe, step-mother Inge These, sisters Barbara (Bruce), Iris and Carmen, brothers-in-law Tom (Janet) and Mark (Sandra), many other family members, adopted family and loving friends. I can't thank Shorncliffe Care Home, nurses, care aides and staff enough for their caring and compassion over the last four months. Included with thanks Dr. Hourigan, family, friends and respite care team for all your support. In death there was still and tears of which we all have in us. I know that John had an abundance of love with his family and friends to welcome him home. May God bless each and every one of you, as he has to John and myself. John did not want a service however, a Celebration of his Life will take place towards the end of August and a notice will be posted closer to the date. In lieu of flowers donations could be made to the MS Society or Alzheimer's (Dementia) Society.
