Kelvin Boren Landstrom

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Kel on May 22. Kel was born in Vancouver and graduated from King Edward High School and SFU in Business and Finance. He followed this direction for his whole business life. Upon retirement, he moved to the Sunshine Coast. Golf, table tennis, bridge and travel were part of his full life. He was a loving husband, a caring brother, a very proud father, an adored grandfather and a wonderful friend to so many. Kel is survived by his cherished wife Norma; his children and grandchildren – Krista (Dino), Capri and Doran Geremia; Michael (Tammy), Mackenzie, Samantha and Jadyn Ringrose; Paul (Deb), Kimberly and Jamie Noble; Ian (Kirsten), Alex and Erik Noble; and sister Connie Landstrom. One who delighted in caring for the needs of others, Kel will be dearly missed. His legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of those whose lives he touched. We are so thankful for the privilege of having such a remarkable man in our family and he will be remembered always. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 12 at Kel and Norma’s home in Gibsons.
