Dear Chris, Elizabeth, Kalina, Natascha, John and family -

"The tide recedes but leaves behind bright seashells on the sand.
The sun goes down, but gentle warmth still lingers on the land.
The music stops, and yet it echoes on in sweet refrains…..
For every joy that passes, something beautiful remains."

Our hearts go out to you for your loss. But rest assured that when the initial pain has passed, there will be many beautiful memories to light your hearts, reminding you of her love for you all...and love never ever dies.

With our deepest heartfelt sympathy,
Annemarie and Walter

Dear John and family
I'm so very saddened to hear of Sue's passing. As well as being a gorgeous wife and mom and friend to my dad, Sue's reputation in the musical world is well established here on Vancouver Island. Her passing is a great loss to all... My thoughts and prayers to you all.

John and all the family. I was very sad to hear about Sue's death and will be thinking of you on Friday. Sue was such a vital person. She embraced life with gusto and had a ready smile for everybody. We go back a long way - 1965 I guess- and although we did not meet often, meetings wherever they took place were always happy occasions. Difficult to be doleful in Sue's company. I have many memories but remember particularly being entertained on a visit to Ottawa - Sue was a perfect hostess - and more recently a visit to the Sunshine coast with Mary and Claire, during which there was much good chat and laughter. She'll be missed.

We got to speak to Sue and John a few times via Skype during visits to Chris and Liz. Even in two-dimensions, it was clear that Sue was a lovely lady and a devoted and loving grandmother. We wish Sue's family strength and peace during this very difficult time.

To all of Sue's family - please know that I am thinking of you. Sue was THE BEST - a truly lovely, positive person...always eager to be helpful in whatever way possible. She touched the lives of so many (fortunately, mine included) and will live on in our hearts. Now Sue is an angel on your shoulder, on our shoulders. I knew Sue briefly when I participated in the Phoenix Choir. As I was a new member of the choir I was made more comfortable by Sue's enthusiastic greeting to me each week. She treated me like a seasoned member of the choir. I feel blessed to have known Sue for even a short time and I am so sorry for her family and her community's loss. You know well how she has touched many, many lives with her loving way of being.

To the Milne Family,

My deepest sympathies in the loss of your dear wife, mother and grandmother.
I only had the pleasure of getting to know Sue these past 2 years as member of the Suncoast Phoenix Choir. She was the first person I met at choir and she was so welcoming with her warm smile. I was always impressed by her positive energy and friendly personality.
She will be sadly missed. May the many happy memories of times spent together give you strength at this difficult time.
