Clifford C. Kittson

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dad, Cliff. Dad passed away after a long, hard and courageous battle with cancer. He lived his life on his own terms and he also passed away on his own terms, in his own home where he was most comfortable with his daughter Shannon by his side. There is comfort in knowing his struggle is now over and he can rest peacefully.

Dad was born in North Vancouver to Donald and Mary Kittson, he was the youngest of three siblings. Dad was a man of many trades. There were very few things that he did not know how to repair. He had a love of motorcycles, gardening and the ocean. He was always ready and willing to help anyone that needed his help. Many people knew dad as someone who could accomplish any task regardless of how difficult it was, even against adversities.

Along Dad's path he met Lois and together (as well as apart) they raised Shannon and Erica. Dad was also known as a story teller. He was very opinionated and not afraid to call you out on anything that did not sit well with him.

Dad will be missed by his large extended family and friends. He is survived by his two children Shannon (Julian) and Erica (Mike) as well as many grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Dad is also survived by his siblings Charles and Dawn and their families.

A very special thanks goes out to Steve, Leslie, Roger, Jeanie, Natasha and Tracey. The family also wishes to thank the doctors as well as the palliative care nurses.

Service to be held on Saturday July 28th at 3pm at Chaster House, 1549 Ocean Beach Esplanade.
