I sadly just found out that my dear friend Jack passed away. I wish I would have known earlier so I could have attended the funeral. Jack was a very inspirational person to me in my piledriving years. My deepest condolences to his wife and family. Jack was such a good friend to me.

Following your phone call announcing the sad departure of Jack, I gathered the boys in the living room and share the news with them. I told them that Grand'ma Debbie called to tell us that Jack had a heart attack. They went from their usual playful mood to very attentive.
They both had a soft spot for Jack. I facilitated a discussion with them about what we will remember the most about Jack - They shared some very specific memories of moments spent with him, his ways, his stories, his cat...but also his honesty, his boldness !
We will all miss him - Our sincere condolences, we share your lost and shall be with you Saturday to celebrate and honour Gram'pa/ Oncle Jack
