Edward Burdett Obituary

1943-2018
It is with great sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of Ed with Alzheimers at Sechelt Hospital, July 21, 2018.
He was predeceased by his parents Phil and Ethel Burdett and sister Sally Cooper. Ed is survived by his brother Jim (Ann), sister Linda (Peter) Bugden. His nieces and nephews Megan, Daniel, Pam, Donald, Michelle, Dave, Rachelle and Sarah, 11 great nieces and nephews, one great-great niece and many cousins.
Ed was born in New Westminster and was raised in Port Coquitlam and moved to Sechelt in 1960. He enjoyed his time at the family McCauley Lake Ranch in Beaver Valley, Horsefly, B.C. He was a logger on the coast and Vancouver Island for many years.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to Dr. Reznick for the many years of care he gave to Ed and also to the third floor staff.
Friends are invited to join the family on Saturday, August 25 for a celebration of life at the Shishalh Nation Hall, 5532 Xenichen Avenue, Sechelt from 1:00pm-3:00pm.
No flowers by request, donations can be made to the Sunshine Coast Healthcare Auxilliary or a charity of your choice.
