GEORGE E THACKER Obituary

George passed away surrounded by family and friends in Sechelt Hospital after a lengthy battle with Pancreatic Cancer. George was predeceased by his brother Phil; son William and daughter Pamela. George is survived by his wife, Brenda; daughter Valerie(Dylan); step children Terry(Kyla), Ferdi(Lisa) and Tera(Ryan); sisters Betty and Marg(Bruce); grandchildren Sasha, Kiera, Matthew, Michael(Tamara), Evangeline, Darwin; nephews Ian(Cory) and Jeremy; and niece Robin(Harland). Celebration of Life to be held at St. John’s United Church-Sunshine Coast on Wednesday March 28, 2018 at 2:00 pm. Interment, Carman Cemetery in Chilliwack at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Pancreatic Cancer Research, BC Cancer Agency.
