GLYN DAVIES Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Glyn. He was born near Wrexham, North Wales and emigrated to Canada in 1953 and worked for Canfor in Port Mellon, retiring after 37 years. He was a 60 year member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 109, Gibsons and a charter member of the Sunshine Coast Golf and Country Club. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Gwyneth; son Gary (Pam), daughter Glenys (Norm), grandchildren David, Thomas, Aaron, Paige, Colton, Rhiannon and Brynn; great-grandson Jaxton; and family in North Wales. Predeceased by his son David in 1999 and daughter-in-law Elizabeth in 1987. No service by request. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 109, Gibsons in Glyn's memory.
