Gerald Charles Hollyer, Q.C.

Gerry passed away peacefully at home in Sechelt B.C. on August 1st in his 88th year, with his loving wife Carol by his side.

Loving father of Elizabeth (Doug), Anne (Jon), Barbara (Stewart), Jennifer (Chris) and Tricia (John) and proud grandfather of Andrew, Matthew, Daniel, Samantha, Patrick, Michelle, Nicole and Sarah.

Gerry was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Mary Hollyer, and his siblings Josephine, Peggy, Betty and John.

Throughout his legal career in Toronto, Ontario with Kingsmill Jennings and Miller Thomson, Gerry was an inspiration and mentor to many. An accomplished skier, golfer, swimmer, gardener and painter, he enjoyed his life fully.

Gerry will always be remembered as a quiet and honourable man and will be very much missed by all who knew him.

Following Gerry's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family memorial will be held at a later date. A contribution in Gerry's memory may be made to the B.C. Alzheimer's Association.
