Lil worked at many jobs over the years: school Janitor in Roberts Creek, salal picker and packer, assistant to school dentists, for many years assisted the Veterinarian in Gibsons, and then she washed and cleaned the school buses every day . She was never one to sit idle. When not working she knitted, did paper tole pictures, gardened, walked, baked for bake sales, babysat, visited her family and traveled. Thanks and gratitude go to the staff of Campbell River Hospital and New Horizons Extended Care facility who cared for her with such compassion and attention, and the caring they also extended to her family.
