Robert John Hanson

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Robert where he died peacefully at St Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver.  Predeceased by his parents Dorothy and Norman Hanson survived by his loving wife Dawn of 52 years, his children Shaune and his daughter Tracey (Lorynn). He also leaves behind his sisters, Shirley in Australia, Claire (Bob) and Patricia (Jack) among many nieces and nephews.

Bob had a love of English soccer that he faithfully watched Every Saturday morning. We know he continues to cheer on England in Heaven....go England go. He was devoted to his family and his home and especially loved his fish pond and afternoon wine at 1pm with Dawn.  

Bob will be truly missed and there will never be a day that we don’t think of him with love. Rest In Peace Bob until we meet again.  We would especially like to thank Dr. Jaschinski , Paige and Dawn at Cowrie Medical Clinic, Sechelt and St Paul’s Hospital for their care, love and devotion.

A memorial service will be held July 4th at 1pm at the Seaside Center in Sechelt.
