Ruth Scott Obituary

It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Ruth. Ruth was born in Vancouver in 1940. She worked in various clerical positions in Vancouver at financial institutions until moving to the Sunshine Coast in 1977. Ruth worked as a receptionist at Howe Sound Pulp and Paper from 1977 until her retirement in March of 2000. She was predeceased by her partner of 29 years, Harold Estabrook (2005), her sister Phyllis Stanfield and her brother John (Jack) Bateman. She is survived by nephews Stephen, Gerald, Joseph, William and David as well as her extended family through Harold and many friends. At Ruth's request, there will be no service.
