Walt loved a good game of cards with friends and family especially a few hands of poker with his poker buddies. He also loved trying to catch a few trout on Bonne Bay Pond during summer or winter. Walt’s last few months were made easier by the exemplary care and compassion given by Dr. Simon Reznick and the palliative care nurses and team of VCH in Sechelt.
Cremation has been done under the care of Devlin Funeral Home in Gibson’s BC. No service will be held as per Walt’s request. As expressions of sympathy donations maybe made to the Children’s Wish foundation or charity of ones choice.
