Walter Weatherall Obituary

On Wednesday, May 23, 2018, Walter Weatherall passed away in a car accident.
Walter was born in Coaldale, Alberta in 1956. He met his best friend and life long partner, Carol in 1973. Together they had three wonderful sons Russell, Tony and Robert. They moved to the Sunshine Coast in 1988. Once here, Walter formed his company, Grade-Rite Excavating. He was a champion to many, donating much of his time to the elderly and people in need. His gift with animals carried with him to his passing. His sidekick and friend Max, a kind and gentle Pit Bull passed away in the accident. Max was well known on the Coast for his beauty and gentle nature to all dogs and children.
Walter and Max will be sadly missed by Carol, the boys, and many other people. Walter was a proud and private man and wished for a private service with his immediate family.
A special thanks go out to Dr. Sara Wadge and her staff for their compassion and special care of Walter for the last five years.
Thank you to the local SPCA for their special care of Max and making his passing as painless as possible.
In lieu of flowers, donations considered to the SPCA would be appreciated.
