With heartfelt sorrow we sadly announce the sudden and premature death of our beloved daughter Alexa Eugenie Bardach on October 21st 2025 at the young age of 41.
Alexa was an accomplished musician, yoga enthusiast, fashionista and artist with an uncanny insight and unique perspective of the world.
During her short life Alexa travelled the world, played guitar in several bands, created and recorded two albums by the age of sixteen, toured Japan and embraced the world of musical electronica.
Alexa was also an accomplished low black Kick Boxer, body building contestant and yoga enthusiast who recently completed her yoga teacher training. Her talents were vast with a peculiar eye for hidden details in everything she did from song writing, leather work, cooking, drawing and fashion. She loved animals, bike riding, nature walks and making soup. Alexa’s irresistible charm, witty intelligence, fierce spirit and huge loving heart will be missed by many whose lives she graciously touched.
She is survived by her Grandmother Helen, Uncle Michael, Auntie Tammy and Uncle Kieran, Cousins Jessi and Tristan, second cousins Piper and Alice, her half brothers Max and Leo, her life partner Ryan and her loving parents Tina and Tony. Alexa is pre-deceased by her Great Grandmother Marie and Grandparents Norman, Barbara and Joe.
A service for family and friends will be held at Devlin Funeral Chapel, 579 Seaview Road, Gibsons, November 21st at 11am.
Burial to follow at Seaview Cemetery, 1706 Lower Road, Roberts Creek
