Alexander (Frank) Franklyn Kingan
May 5, 1931 - October 16, 2022
Predeceased by his wife Margaret (Madge) Kingan in 1998, and his brother Maynard Kingan in 2000.
Lovingly remembered by daughter Kathleen (Ron) and their children Carly (Nate), Julia (Andrew), and Ryan (Evie). Also survived by nephews Miles (daughter Holly, sons Ryan, Lucas, and Pierce), Kevin (Leigh) and his daughter Chloe, sons Jordan (Eden), McKenzie, and Declan, along with great grandchildren Deacon, Carter, and Elaina.
Frank came to Canada in 1953 followed by the love of his life Madge in 1954 and wed that same year in Vancouver. They continued to live in Vancouver where Frank worked two jobs while taking night classes to later work in the insurance industry for the next 35 years for various companies. He then moved his entire family to the Sunshine Coast in 1990. He loved living on the coast, spending much of his last years on his ride on mower cutting his expanse of lawn (which would take him 7 days cutting and trimming along the way.
Frank's family would like to thank the staff of Christenson Village for the exceptional care Frank receved during his brief stay, and especially his last few days there.
