Anne Jack (nee Morrison)

December 8, 1938 - June 4, 2022

It is with broken hearts that we announce at 8:40am on June 4, Mum chose to go "dancing in the sky" with our Dad. After a seven year battle with dementia, which she dealt with such grace, she left on her terms with her children by her side.

Anne was born in Dundee, Scotland and came to Canada in 1960 with her soulmate, spending the first 12 years in Ocean Falls before moving to Gibsons in 1972.

Anne is predeceased by her parents, Stanley and Elizabeth, and all of her siblings, Bette, Stan, Eva, Alex, Norman and Margaret, and the love of her life, husband Sandy (2014). Anne is survived by her daughter, Natalie, son Steven (Tanya), grandchildren Adam and Melissa and her two great-granddaughters, Destiny and Serenity, whom she adored, and many nieces and nephews in Canada, USA and Scotland.

Natalie and Steven would like to thank all the caring nurses at Sechelt Hospital and Totem Lodge for their care and compassion in keeping Mum's dignity over the past year. A very special thank you to Mum's friend Janet for always looking out for her. To all our dear friends (you know who you are), thank you. Finally, to Dr. Belgraver, no words seem enough for all you have done for Mum, from hugs and house calls. Thank you for all your love, support and compassion to Mum.
