It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of a beloved husband, father and grandpa. He is survived by his wife Dorothy, daughter Tammy (Dave), son James and grandchildren Marley and Mac and 4-legged grandson Bo.

Dave is also survived by his brothers, Edward and John (Jean) and sisters, Alice, Annie Mae (Dennis) Eleanor, Mary.  Predeased by Margaret (Bill). Also survived by Lillian, Sue, and many nieces and nephews and all of his close friends.

Dave was born in Simonds New Brunswick to Erma and Allison Shaw where he developed his love of the outdoors and farming. Heading west he continuing his passion for the outdoors. He worked tirelessly and his jobs at Champlain Mall and for the Pivitol Corporation before retiring to the Sunshine Coast.

Here he finally had the time to spend in the garden with his many flowers, vegetable and fruit trees or sitting quietly with Willow on his lap. If Dave wasn’t in the garden he would be camping, hunting with his best buddy, son James, or spending time enjoying many family celebrations.

This extremely loving and caring man is going to be truly missed by all that knew him.
