It is with heavy hearts that the family announces his passing at Shorncliffe Hospice Care Home with family by his side.

Leaving behind to mourn, his wife, Lera; his sons, David (predeceased), Danny (Gayle), Richard (Lori); his daughter, Stacey; brothers, John (Diane), Kenny (Betty); sister Jerri Lynn and the joys of his life, his numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and “adopted” children.

Ernie worked at Howe Sound Pulp & Paper as a longshoreman and locomotive operator.  He loved working in his garden and tending his flowers.  He was generous with the fruits & vegetables of his labour.  He was also an avid miniature car collector and he proudly displayed them for his wife to dust.

He will be missed.
