Florence Beddard Obituary

Florence, born Florence Broughton in Cadillac, Saskatchewan, passed away peacefully in Christenson Village Assisted Living at the age of 96. She moved to Gibsons from Ontario in 1992 and enjoyed being involved with various activities on the coast that included being a member of the Garden Club, volunteering at the Thrift Store and learning Tai Chi. Florence was described as a gentle, sweet lady. She was proud and cherished her independence. She is fondly remembered by her family: daughters Elizabeth and Catherine, grandchildren – Laura, Curtis, Andrea, Linsey, Sandra and Brian and her son-in-laws Robert and Bruno.

The family wishes to thank Dr Hourigan and the staff at Christenson Village for their support that enabled them to care for Florence in her home surrounded by family and friends.
