It is with much sadness and broken hearts that we had to say goodbye to our darling George, after a brave battle with heart failure and pneumonia. George was an amazingly strong man that fought his heart disease from the age of 49. He was soft spoken and kind to everyone he met. He was always there to lend a hand or give any knowledge or “spare parts” he had if you needed it. He had a loving, giving, proud place in his heart for our beautiful children Mona(Kenny) and Chad (Michelle). His heart was overflowing with love for his Grandchildren, Bailey, Shelby, Emily and Sophie. He was so grateful for them all. He had the amazing privilege to also become a GGPoppa (Great Grandpa) and he was always beaming when Octavia was holding his hand and taking him for a walk or cuddling on his knee watching a movie. George had tears and heartfelt emotion when our beautiful Braxton was born and he was honoured with his Great-grandson being given his middle name, Leonard. He was also a loving friend, provider, soulmate and husband of 53 years to Roxana. George was liked and respected by everyone who met him. His dedication and extreme love for his family kept him fighting through his heart disease and many stays in the hospital, to always return to us. But his last battle was too much for his delicate heart. There will be a huge hole in all of our lives forever, with the loss of this incredible man. He may have only been 5’ 8” but carried a persona that of a 6’7” man! We will love you always and forever my Lovey
