Glen (Lenny) Gould Obituary

After a life of courage and a pinch or two of adventure Glen (Lenny) Gould passed away on August 13, 2018. His resilience through significant pain and suffering was awe inspiring.  Lenny encouraged those around him with his strength and ability to find humour through the tremendous challenges of a long and painful illness.
Lenny will be remembered for his love of people and great conversation, especially if it included basketball, politics, reading, music, social justice, and the environment. A tree planter for many years, he took pride in the fact he had planted a million trees which he delighted in knowing contributed to a better world. He developed a sense of fairness early in life when he engaged in activities to raise awareness about racism, protesting the Vietnam war and in honing his skills on the basketball court. His passion for and collection of books was legendary and will provide many years of reading pleasure to a lucky few. Lenny lived life fully, his many adventures and deep love for his family and friends have left a legacy of memories that bring smiles and comfort to all who were touched by him.
He will be ever missed by many including his mother Ruth, sister Judy, only wife Dale, daughters Jasmine (Phil) and Brittany (Sean) as well as  many dear friends and extended family members.

"Never stop reading," Lenny.
