Gordon Bradley Dieroff
December 26, 1958 – March 2, 2026
Gordon Bradley Dieroff of Gibsons, BC passed away peacefully on March 2, 2026, at the age of 67 after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by family.
Gord was born on December 26,1958 to Rena and Arthur Dieroff in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He moved to London, Ontario, graduating from Beal Secondary School of the Arts where he later taught night classes and built a successful small business in the ceramic arts. He also co-owned and operated Victory Gardens, a busy and well established landscaping business with his brothers, Rob and Dave. In 1993, Gord relocated to Gibsons, on the Sunshine Coast, British Columbia, where he built a life rooted in family, community, and the outdoors.
A dedicated landscaper, Gord owned and operated Coast Turf and Tree for over 30 years. Through his work he became known in the community as hardworking, humble, and dependable, taking great pride in the spaces he helped create and care for.
Gord had a deep love for the outdoors and a lifelong passion for sports, especially hockey. He was also a talented artist who loved pottery, painting, drawing and music and in later years spent many hours creating in the art studio he shared with his wife, Jen Drysdale. He also enjoyed playing his guitar and writing creative poems for his family and friends. Above all, he was a devoted father who loved supporting his children and making memories with his family.
He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, Jennifer; his children, Grace (Jonah) and Andrew (Brittany); and his grandchildren, Audrey and Leo. He is also remembered by his siblings Kathryn (Gary), Robert (Cheryl), and David (Ana), along with many nieces, nephews, and friends. Gord was predeceased by his parents, Rena and Arthur.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, July 27th, 2026, from 2-4pm in Gord’s beautiful garden at 1070 Stewart Rd., Gibsons.
Gord found joy in the outdoors, in creating with his hands, and in the people he loved most.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Gord’s memory may be made to the Coast Cultural Alliance in support of the Sunshine Coast Art Crawl, where Gord and Jen shared their artwork with the community for many years.
