Obituary

January 11, 1938 - February 28, 2023

Ian was born in North Vancouver and moved to Gibsons with his family in 1946. He will be dearly missed by Barb and their daughters Heather (Harris) and Deanna and his beloved grandchildren Amanda, Stephen, Michael and Holly. Ian was predeceased by infant son David and his brothers Doug and Grant. Also survived by siblings Janet, Jean, Glenn and Andrian, their families and cousins in Scotland.

Ian liked to joke that he married Barb for her family.  They have always considered him one of their own.

Ian especially wanted to thank Dr. Rand Rudland, Dr. Sara Wadge, and Dr. Joerg Jaschinski for the care he received over the years. The family thanks Dr. Carmen Goojha for her kindness and compassion.

Ian was a friend of Bill W. for 52 years.
