Ines Julian Manuel
April 5, 1939 to October 20, 2021

 Ines passed away peacefully at Shorncliffe Care Home in Sechelt, BC with loving family by her side. She emigrated to Canada in 1993 and had many fun filled years taking care of her numerous grandchildren, homemaking, boating, and making trips back home to the Philippines and to visit relatives in Hawaii. She struggled with Parkinson’s in later years, but always maintained a sense of humour, compassion, and dignity combined with an extraordinarily good memory and sharp mind.  

She is survived by her son Nestor Julian (Lydia) of Surrey BC, daughter Jocelyn Cordel (June) of Surrey, BC, daughter Susan Tingley (Paul) of Gibsons, BC, son Gerardo Manuel (Lory) of Gibsons, BC,  son Willie Manuel (Edna), Philippines, and son Aniceto (Boda) Manuel (Cheryl) of Gibsons, BC. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her husband Doroteo Manuel and her granddaughter Marie Fe Manuel Tingley.

Funeral Services will be at St Mary’s Catholic Church in Gibsons, BC on Saturday October 30, 2021. Viewing will be at 10 AM with services to follow at 11 AM.
