Jean (Klischuk) Drake

Jean Drake (nee Klischuk) 102 of Gibsons, BC, fell asleep in death on October 31st, 2022.  

Jean was born in Steep Creek Saskatchewan on a small rural farm and was one of 6 children.  Her love of nature, gardening, preserving food and sewing came from her upbringing on the farm and working hard with her family. She married the love of her life Paul Drake in 1948 and they enjoyed 71 years of marriage together.  Paul and Jean had 3 children and made Gibsons their home and became well known in the community for over 50 years.  Jean is survived by her three cherished children Paula Wheeler, Donna Fuller and Kerry (Leslie) Drake, her 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.  

The family of Jean would like to thank the staff for the loving and kind care she received from  everyone at Christenson Village in Gibsons.
