January 21, 1950 - February 27, 2023

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of John Robert Hopkirk of Summerside, Prince Edward Island at Sechelt Hospital on February 27, 2023.

John was predeceased by his father John (Jock) Hopkirk and his mother, Margaret (Curtis) Hopkirk. He is survived by his brother Gerry (Gail), son Trevor (Lori), daughter Nicole (Jordon) grandchildren Jacob, Chloe, and London and neices, Janice and Susan.

John was born in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island on January 21, 1950 and relocated to North Vancouver, British Columbia in 1974. John was a gentle, selfless man with a heart bigger than life, always wanting to help others. He was known for his gift of drumming and talented singing voice. John will be missed by his family and his many friends.
