John (Jack) Findler Obituary

August 18, 1930 - May 24, 2018
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, John (Jack) William Madelung Findler. Jack is predeceased by his devoted wife of 61 years, Laurelle. Survived by his son Jeffery (Jori) and daughter Sandra. He will also be dearly missed by his grandsons, Nicholas and Daniel, and his step-grandsons Travis and Tyler, all of the Lower Mainland.
Jack's interests and talents ranged from photography, sports, music, and aviation, as well as being active in various service organizations. Jack was elected to the board of directors of the Vancouver Golf Club in the early 1980's. Retiring in 1979 after a long and successful career in the automobile industry, he and Laurelle enjoyed living on the Sunshine Coast of B.C.
Both Jack and Laurelle requested their remains be scattered in a private ceremony at St. Hilda's Memorial Church Garden, in the town of Sechelt where they resided.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the BC Cancer Foundation.
