Kevin Ellery Hinz

Kevin leaves behind his wife, Mariann; siblings Rodney, Sandy, and Cheryl; and many nephews, nieces, and great-nephews and nieces.

Kevin was the “big guy” with an even bigger heart. He was a presence—loud, sometimes annoying—but he would always stop to save a bee, a wolf spider, or a bird. A lover of all animals, especially his kitties, Kevin was completely wrapped around their paws.

Kevin loved a good time, a Budweiser, and a Caesar.  His friends were very important to him, Gord, Ken, Paul & Deb and K2 to mention a few.  He truly enjoyed the time spent with them.  He loved Momsie, SooBoo (named by Kevin), Ben, Carly and Landshark (named by Kevin).

Rest in peace, Kevin.  You are at peace now, free from pain.  You will be missed by many and always loved.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date in 2026.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Sunshine Coast SPCA in Kevin's name would be greatly appreciated.
