Lesalie Sharal McGinnis

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend. Lesalie was an excellent baker, enjoyed sewing, was very artistic, and always had a project on the go. She really loved her family, hats, art, singing, music, dancing and animals.

Lesalie is survived by her two children Jasmin (Laren), Tyler (Joleen), seven grandchildren, two sisters, three brothers, their families, and many close friends. If there is any take away from this great tragedy, it is that tomorrow is never guaranteed, so collect memories spending time with the ones you love.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to the SPCA.

A private celebration for Leslie’s friends and family will be held at Persephone Brewing in Gibsons, on September 13th, 2025 from 11:30 am to 2:00pm.
