Died peacefully with her daughter by her side. Predeceased by her husband Lloyd and the father of her children, Bruce McLellan. Left behind, her cherished family: Dale (Colin) Sechelt, Kim (Kerry) Australia, Don, Wilson Creek, grandchildren Cindy, Jon, Chris, Yegon, Carlin, Mandy, Doug, Keith, great-grands Alex, Averleigh, Roan and many nieces and nephews.

Born in Harris, Sask., Marian and family moved to Sidney, BC where she grew up on the farm at Sunny Acres. Shortly after being crowned Sidney May Queen, she married Bruce and together they raised their children in Kitimat. When the family dynamic changed, Marian married Lloyd Osborne; they lived in Baie Comeau, Quebec before retiring to Gibsons in 1984.

Mum loved gardening. The United Church in Gibsons was recipient of beautiful blooms, preserves and especially tomato plants for the spring sale. Mum spent her leisure time doing Sudoku, knitting, crocheting and quilting with her little dog Megan nearby.
