Martha Johanna Behnke

Martha Johanna Behnke fell asleep in death on January 2, 2026, at the age of 88. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Karl Behnke, who died in 2022. Karl and Martha moved to the Coast in 1987 and settled in San Souci, Secret Cove, their little piece of paradise. They loved living near the water and enjoyed spending time swimming, sail boarding or on their boat fishing. They also loved golfing and could often be found on the Pender Harbour golf course.

Martha was known for her strong faith, her deep love for her God, Jehovah, and her appreciation for His purpose for the earth. She found joy in creation, especially the natural world, and had a special love for her poodles. She is lovingly remembered by family and friends, who cherish the sure hope of the resurrection promised in God’s Word.

A Memorial service will be held Saturday, January 31st at 2pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 6384 Norwest Bay Rd, Sechelt
