Mary Catherine (Rogers) Nelson

Mary Catherine Nelson (nee Rogers), born Nov. 8, 1954 in Vancouver BC, passed away peacefully and graciously on Feb.24, 2021 in Sechelt, BC after a courageous journey with cancer.

A dedicated sister, mother, and grandmother, Mary was loving and generous with her heartfelt willingness to help others. She was a truly beautiful soul who cherished family relationships and her strong friendships. She impacted many lives and her sense of humour, and unmistakable laughter, will be remembered by all who knew her.

Mary is predeceased by her parents Mary and Lyle Rogers, sister Shannon, and many other family and friends. She is survived and greatly missed by son Darren, daughter Courtney (Jane), granddaughter Harlie, siblings Lyla, Camellia, Morgan, and Scott (Cat).

Sincere thanks to Drs. Lehman, McCall, and Wadge and the many excellent nursing staff who provided wonderful care and support during Mary’s journey.
