Peter Light - hippy, permaculturist, pot grower, bamboo enthusiast, genealogist, actor, peace and civil rights activist, writer and long-time Creeker, died from the ravages of lung cancer on April 3rd, in his daughter's home with her at his side. "Turn on, tune in, drop out" informed his life to the end.
He will be remembered for many things, including his Storm Bay homestead, his life-changing fire circles, his multi-functional Garden of Eden and his love of a good argument.
He was predeceased by his parents, Lois & Gunter, and sister, Lisa. He will be deeply missed by his siblings Linda, Keith & Karen, his three children, River (Roni), Shad and Bodhi, his nine grandchildren, Lauren, Brychan, Donovan, Jasper, Ronan, Harper, Esmé, Hawksley & Amira, his two great-grandchildren, Emily & Jake (not all of whom he recognized), his nieces & nephews, his close friends and his faithful canine companion, Boo.
