Reginald Cran Obituary

Beloved husband, father, Papa, and friend, Reg lived a life marked by love, dedication, and generosity.

Reg was a man of many talents and accomplishments. He spent a long and distinguished career in banking, where his sharp mind, strong work ethic, and unwavering integrity earned him the respect of colleagues and clients alike. Later, he transitioned into entrepreneurship and consulting, sharing his wealth of experience to help others succeed. Throughout his professional life, Reg’s approach to leadership and mentoring was grounded in kindness and authenticity, leaving a lasting impact on everyone he worked with.

Above all, Reg was a devoted family man. He shared 41 beautiful years with his beloved wife, Cheryl, building a life full of cherished memories, laughter, and adventure.

He was the proud father of three children: Tyler, Jordan, and Courtney (Matt Carolei), each of whom he deeply loved and supported on their unique journeys. In recent years, his greatest joy was being “Papa” to his two adored grandchildren, Olive and Austin, who brought him endless happiness and light.

Reg will be remembered for his sharp wit, quiet strength, and boundless generosity. He had a gift for bringing levity to any situation, and his presence was a source of comfort and wisdom to all who knew him.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the medical professionals and caregivers who provided compassionate care throughout Reg’s illness.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Parkinson’s/Lewy Body Dementia Society.

Reg’s legacy lives on in the hearts of his family and the countless people he inspired.

While we mourn his loss, we also celebrate a life well lived.
