OBITUARY Print

Richard Lyle Peters of Gibsons, BC
1942-2021, age 78
Born in Vancouver to Richard and Mary Peters

Rick passed away peacefully at Sechelt hospital with family by his side. Rick was a hard working Faller all his life, many memories being spent in camps in the summer or shake making in the creek. Dad loved his gardens, you could always find him amongst his tomato plants and the giant pumpkins he would grow for his grandkids. Dad took pride in all he grew, teaching the grandchildren how to grow a garden from seeds, they would save all their apple/orange seeds for him to grow.

Dad is predeceased by his parents Richard and Mary, and his brother Bryan. He is survived by his sisters Dorothy and Mary, his three daughters Sherri, Debbie, and Nadine, grandchildren Amy, Amber, Natasha, Owen, Lena, Cassandra, Chelby, Jordan, Jessica, and Farryn, and great-grandchildren Charlie, Emma, Elizabeth, Madison, Beckett, Vincent, Caroline, Sofia, Kiera, and Theodore.

Rick will be missed by family and friends. Please enjoy a beer in memory of our dad. May Grandpa rest peacefully under the trees.

No service will be held, a Celebration of Life will be held in the summer.

Condolences to Sherri, Debbie and Nadine and all his Grandchildren 💔😢🙏🏼 He will be sadly missed, such a good friend to my Brothers Alan and Brian, they always made sure that they shared there wild meat and Sockeye salmon with him.

Always remember dad taking me to visit Uncle Rick. Uncle Rick would pick me up upside down holding my feet and claim to shake all the money out of my pockets and make me giggle. Miss you Uncle.
