Dear Richard ,
Here are some random thoughts : One year later and it’s hard to believe that you’re not here anymore. We all love you so much and miss you , we miss your laugh, we laughed till we cried . It felt so good . We miss your caring, you made each one feel so special. Mother’s Day , Fathers Day , Dad’s Birthday ( Clams, oysters , prawns) Christmas, Easter, the kids Birthday Parties & sharing in the joys & pain of others always ready to lend a hand or listening ear . You loved your family , your children & their Mom . Amazed with the birth of each of your children Sydney & Brandon. And of course you loved to talk. You were a story teller,an artist with your words describing every detail not realizing some people would rather “just get to the point ! You loved listening to the news & weather, All the while planning the next fishing trip . Driving up the mountain just to watch a sunset or down the Oregon Coastline with Craig to see the sun rise . You loved your blue & grey Ford Ranger , your blue Ford blue truck and prided yourself with the best sound systems ever , your boats ; a good cup of tea ,smoking salmon, partying with sisters , you loved your dog Kaylee & cat Mylo . You loved camping , the news , the weather , and of course Hockey, the Vancouver Canucks with A photo of all of you & Jackson your dog dressed in Canucks Jersey appearing on Global news. You never missed any of your children’s special occasions , games, , whatever . you even tobogganed with Sydney as a baby down your driveway and (with her leg in a caste .) We had so much fun building snowman and tobogganing in your front yard or up the mountain. And of course your house built and completed In time for you & Brill to bring Sydney home from the hospital. You had many fun times taking Brandon fishing along with assembling & driving all his model trucks & cars round the yard. Taking the kids quad riding, or picking pine Mushrooms ,sitting on the roof to watch the fireworks , you loved coaching minor baseball along with Sydney & Brandon as part of your team and winning the trophy several years in a row sponsored by Claytons Heritage Market. From the time you were born at 5:20 P M On December 21, 1972 right on time for dinner and discharged for breakfast on Christmas morning you loved to eat even making your sisters Vicki & Debbie wait to open their presents! You loved peaches and ,cherries so much that even as a little tyke having fallen off your tricycle and with stitches in your lip you managed to chow them down . Or Eating tons of picked Blackberries while riding in a wheelbarrow as a little wee guy. You were a hard worker and managed two paper routes when you were 10 years old . With your love of food it was only fitting that you begin your job in Claytons Heritage market where you worked 32 years plus, many of those years as meat manager , you loved your job & product that you & your co -workers put on the shelves ;and when you were married in 2010 You added the folder : photos from your work family , along side the photos from your family photos. Well time is up I have got to get this sent ! . Just some random thoughts put together
