In Loving Memory of Ron Stephens (Jackson)
March 23, 1967 - December 16, 2023
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ron Stephens, a beloved son, father, and friend. Ron peacefully left this world on December 16, 2023, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of warmth and camaraderie.
Ron was born on March 23, 1967, and grew up in Roberts Creek, BC. His early years were shaped by the coastal beauty that surrounded him. He embarked on a fulfilling career as a commercial fisherman, navigating the waters with skill and dedication.
Ron was hardworking and loved to tell his stories. He had a knack for captivating audiences with his tales, leaving everyone in stitches.
Ron found joy in savoring delicious meals and exploring the world through travel. His love for rock and roll music was infectious, and he could often be found tapping his foot to the rhythm. Ron's spirit of adventure extended to the open road, where he reveled in the freedom of riding his Harley alongside close friends.
Ron had an extraordinary ability to make friends wherever life took him, and he leaves behind a network of friends who will forever cherish the moments shared with him.
Ron is survived by his devoted daughter Veronica, mother Sue, sister Kristina, extended relatives and close friends all who will continue to carry his memory in their hearts. In honoring Ron's life, let us remember the laughter he brought, the stories he shared, and the love he spread to those fortunate enough to know him.
A celebration of Ron's life will be held January 13, 2024, at the Gibson’s Legion. It is requested that attend in your best band tee – even better if it’s Motor Head. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that you consider a donation to any local addiction support organization in Ron’s honour.
