Ruth Sorensen

Ruth passed away suddenly on September 3, 2018 at VGH after suffering a major stroke.
 
She is predeceased by Ernest, the love of her life. She leaves to mourn her passing, son Paul, daughter Linda(Douglas), 3 amazing & deeply loved grandchildren Scott (Sally Chen), Bryan, Stephanie(Nicholas), great-granddaughter Sophia, sister Esther(Sam) their children, spouses & grandchildren.
Our heartfelt thanks to Ruth's Doctor, Dr. D. Spithoff for his many years of care, support and kindness. We would also like to thank the staff at St. Mary's Hospital, Dr. Teal & the health support team who treated mom at VGH after her stroke.
A special thank you to the staff at Christensen Village who made Ruth's final chapter one of happiness and dignity.
Funeral Service to be held at Devlin Funeral Home on September 17 /2018 at 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in Ruth's name to the Salvation Army or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
