William Bruce McCallum, passed away on October 24th, 2022 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Sechelt, BC in his 85th year.
He played many sports throughout his lifetime. In his youth he played for the UBC Thunderbirds Football team and the Ex Britannia rugby team. A lifelong golfer he spent much of his time quietly perfecting his game even winning the BC Pro Am golf tournament.
He was a teacher in the classroom and in life. He taught in various communities in BC including Alert Bay and Dawson Creek. He also fulfilled his lifelong dream of farming in the Peace River Country. In his later years he returned to the lower mainland to spend his retirement surrounded by his family and dear friends including his many cousins.
Bruce is a survived by his loving wife, Dorothy and two children James and Danielle, son in law Craig and granddaughter Madeline.
Bruce was many things in this world. But mostly he was a loving, kind and thoughtful person and he will be missed.
